Volunteer Opportunities

Here is what some of our volunteers say about working with the Center for Smart Financial Choices:

I volunteered for the Adult for a Day program  through the Center for Smart Financial Choices at Walkertown High School, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I feel I got back much more from the experience than I gave. I’ve been in the financial service industry for 17 years, and I’ve rarely had the opportunity to provide education on topics such as budgeting, credit, and homeowners/renters insurance. It was rewarding to witness high school students grasp financial topics, while applying them to real world situations. I will continue to volunteer for additional opportunities with the Center for Smart Financial Choices as they arise.-Donny

“I’m a financial counselor student and was very fortunate and honored to have had the opportunity to volunteer with CFSFC. This was such a fun and educational money program. I enjoyed watching the teens engage in the Money Habitues® program. The organization is doing a great service of educating school age kids and teens on money. I look forward to volunteering with them in the near future.”-Natasha
