Volunteer Opportunities

“The more people volunteer, the happier they are,” according to a study at the London School of Economics. Compared with people who never volunteer, the odds of being “very happy” rose 7% among those who volunteer monthly and 12% for people who volunteer every two to four weeks.

Volunteers for CFSFC are a diverse group of individuals who share a passion for helping others by promoting financial education. They feel “we have a responsibility to help people live fuller, healthier lives by making decisions with an eye to the future.” Many of our volunteers work in financial professions and have a wealth of knowledge to share with young and old. Our young adult volunteers are interested in “giving back” and “helping youth have a chance at a successful life.”

  • Volunteers help at youth workshops in schools, after-school clubs, local non-profit youth programs and on college campuses.
  • Volunteers also work with adults through our partner organizations like Goodwill, Urban League, Forsyth County Department of Social Services, Forsyth County Baby Love and Veterans Helping Veterans Heal.
